> DMS provides modern air conditioning services and needed to update its company image to reflect this.

The new logo and branding elements succeeded in presenting the company as both professional and reliable with a solid sense of the 'seal of quality' that its work defines. The logo had to be clean and clear with the 3 tenets of the company name: Direct / Maintenance / Service represented within, as well as a clear connection to air conditioning.

Professional Sound Protection

> D-Noise primarily supplies the professional sound & music industry with high-tec hearing protection which preserves the fidelity of the sound being worked with.

The logo had to represent the idea that high levels of sound could be filtered, retaining clarity while removing the damaging vibrations. Following on this the promotional mailer had to communicate this stylish hi-tec quality solution to selected groups — sending a message that clear, crisp sound could be controlled without being muffled.

This language was achieved through the use of vibrant solid colors over a high contrast stylish black background and reference to sound bars in recording and playback equipment. The main hurdle was overcoming the unremarkable visual aspect of the product and providing an overview to its outstanding function.

> Fresh Hair Co. Wanted to capture a 1920's elegant but modern style fusion which would appeal to its customers. And while aimed predominately at women also wanted to include men. In this case gender neutral green hue was chosen alongside classy black, white and gray tones, that were specified as desirable by the client. While organic forms were integrated deeply in the overall visual style, those forms were shaped as to not be overly feminine, while capturing a decorative style making it stand out from the crowd. This was important as the client did not want a separate card and stationery for male and female customers.

> JK Plastering needed to bring its image into the public eye, outshine the competition and attract more work. Presenting a professional & established company through a well designed logo and identity. The logo was required to present a skillful surface-rendering service, while the tools of the trade being varied were not restricted to just plastering, the attention to surface and edge detail was sought after and the logos clean angles lines and smooth surfaces and sweeping action presented this to the satisfaction of the client, while adopting Liverpool city's red added the finishing touch.

> Westgate Glass & Mirror Co. manufactures high quality glass and mirror products. Prompted by its new web site needed to update its tired company stationery to come inline with the premier service it provides. Faced with the realization that the client didn't like their own logo - a new re-vamped version was proposed that actually communicated the company's sense of style and high standards of craftsmanship. Uncommon blue-tinted paper served to add to the cool glassy stylish effect of clean ornate lines on the stationery and spot UV to add that bit of sparkle to the mirror on the business card design was highly appropriate.

> Piece by Piece create designer interior decoration and bespoke furniture worthy of being the feature of any room. The challenge was to create a simple logo which reflects the wide range of furniture they create while expressing the hand made individual and stylish quality they uphold. The simple swatch-like shapes give the impression of selection and choice from fabrics reinforced by a jagged edge familiar to fabric scissors and doubled arrangement stemming from the company name - the stylized motif adds the hand-made creative touch with a sense of elegance.

> Top Class - Provide mobile professional valet services to business and private owners. The designs were required to create a professional impression of a reliable, quality service. The the logo was required to capture a stylish, classy look and being very much connected to the fashionable car scene. A requirement was that the designs be suitable for vehicle graphics and be embroidered onto uniforms. A bold and distinctive badge-like quality similar to a racing patch. was selected as the main logo shape. The car silhouette - black with a waxed-shine effect gave a regal image along with deep purple set against classic grey.This contrasted with blazing sunshine yellow combine to create a bright confident mark which grabs attention relays its vehicle related business.

They needed a new professional logo and identity update across all their existing stationery and signage. The client required the new identity to contain a clear, friendly and approachable visual language that would express their high level of professional, modern and knowledgeable service. The smooth vibrations around the simplistic ear give a calm impression and the sky blue colour representing the element of air - fundamental to sound and also clarity.

> Kirklees Mobility - supply, service and advise on mobility products from a very wide range. The client needed a new logo and signage in a very short turnaround. The client needed a bright bold easy to spot sign which gave an impression of movement. The logo displays movement and direction through a right pointing arrow - it is also bright and brave with a determined red and white. The client was so happy with the initial designs - they commissioned new stationery, posters and POS to complete the new identity which really stood out on the high street and was easy to locate. The new stationery included supportive pink tints and mobile, progressive forms to compliment the active confident reds.

> Mini Mocha - are a popular mobile barista company providing specialist coffee and quality buffet services. The client caters to many different clients from small corporate lunches to large festivals, so its audience is quite wide. The aim was to create a warm, rich almost sensual experience experienced through the quality and often exotic coffees which are their specialty. Rich warm blacks complement the deep earthy tones of the logo rather than a 'flat' black and this is heightened by hot red lines - present around key images and linking information.

The challenge was to create a logo that would capture the hand-made, luxury quality of the products it offers to female consumers - making women feel and look great. A concept was developed to embody the senses of vision and touch - reflecting the tactile and image enhancing nature of their products. A style reminiscent of decorative fabric details and texture was used to reinforce this message

> Xscape - are an indoor snow sports and leisure provider. A poster was required to promote a new range of branded Xscape snow boards aimed at the attracting the female end of the market. The designs had to be fashionable and capture the spirit of winter sporting activity. Each design would embody a name or slogan - this name had to be typographically descriptive and distinctive allowing a sense of identity and ownership of the board's image.
